1. All students should be engaged in play in on of the following designated play areas:
   • Handball
   • Tetherball
   • Kickball
   • Hop Scotch
   • Four Square
   • Jump ropes/hula hoops
   • Basketball
   • Reading/chess/social tables
   • Play and climbing structure — M,W,F (red shirt day) grades 2 (not on monkey bars) & 4 will be allowed on the structures during lunch recess and on T & Th (orange shirt day) grades 3 & 5 will be allowed on the structures during lunch recess. All will be allowed to play on the structures every day during their morning recesses.
2. Chase of any kind will not be permitted
3. Students and teachers may bring own equipment onto the playground during designated recess times.
4. Each class should have two designated students to help put the play equipment away after their recess time.
5. All games will be played according to P.E. rules.
6. Play safely and most of all have fun!

Rules for Swings

1. Need to pump yourself— no pushing.
2. 1 person at a time.
3. Line up spot — walk in front on the blacktop & then to the swing.
4. Sit down facing the office & start counting
5. 20 swings (up — back counts as 1)
